Stree Swabhiman Yojana 2020 has been launched by the Common Service Center, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Under this scheme the government will support small Village Level Entrepreneurs who are producing sanitary napkins, will create awareness about the usage of sanitary napkins by women’s during menses period, made available Bio-degradable and eco-friendly sanitary pads to the girls and women’s in rural areas at very reasonable rate and provide help in setting up mini manufacturing units of sanitary napkins and provide training for manufacturing of sanitary napkins.
