Punyakoti Dattu Yojana Karnataka was launched on 28 July 2022 for the welfare of cattle in Karnataka state. This unique scheme will ease the adoption of cows from Goshalas. With the help of this scheme, the people of the state will be encouraged to adopt cattle. Residents of the state can adopt cows from cow sheds and provide them with better nutrition and facilities. According to the scheme, the state government will make around 100 cow sheds in the entire state where crossbred, needy, old, tired, and diseased cattle will be kept properly with care. Under the scheme, the cattle will be nurtured in the government-established cow sheds.

  • The government of Karnataka launched the scheme on 28 July 2022.
  • It is expected that around 100 government goshalas will be started in the whole state to protect cows.
  • According to the scheme, the needy, diseased, abandoned cattle will be provided shelter in goshalas.

  • If you are satisfied with the work of Gaushala and want to donate your cow, then you must fill out the form that will appear on the screen.
  • For this, select the donation received from the dropdown menu.
  • Then tell the purpose of your donation, like – medical expenses, maintenance, or animal feed and extra, etc.
  • Now you must select the amount you want to donate.
  • Provide your 10-digit mobile number, full name, and email address.
