There will be many benefits of the Rajasthan social security pension scheme and one of the many benefits is the security of the backward section of Rajasthan State. The benefit of the scheme will be the sense of belonging that will be made in the minds of the people of Rajasthan state. There are many schemes developed under the Rajasthan social security pension initiative and the schemes are targeted to many other smaller categories of the people so, that the benefit of the initiative is distributed among all the residents of the state and nobody is left behind.

Types Of RAJSSP Pension Schemes

The Rajasthan Social Security Pension Schemes are divided into two categories that are-

 Central Government Sponsored Pension Schemes

  1. First Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS)
  2. Second Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS)
  3. Third Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)

State Government Sponsored Pension Schemes

  1. First State Old Age Pension Scheme (SOAPS)
  2. Second State Widow Pension Scheme (SWPS)
  3. Third State Disability Pension Scheme (SDPS)

Eligibility Criteria For The Schemes

To be eligible for the above-mentioned schemes, you need to go through the following eligibility criteria:-

For State Old Age Pension Scheme (SOAPS)

  • Women must be above 55 Years of Age
  • Men must be above 58 Years of Age
  • Annual income must not exceed Rs.48000/-

For State Widow Pension Scheme (SWPS)

  • Women must be above 18 Years of Age
  • Only widows or divorced women can apply for the scheme.
  • Annual income must not exceed Rs.48000/-

For State Disability Pension Scheme (SDPS)

  • A person with 40% of Disabilities of any age is eligible.
  • A person with Dwarf Hijra (3 feet 6 inches) of height is also eligible.
  • Annual income must not exceed Rs.60000/-

For Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS)

  • Women must be above 60 Years of Age
  • Men must be above 60 Years of Age
  • Annual income must be Below the Poverty Line

For Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS)

  • Women must be above 40 Years of Age
  • Only widows or divorced women can apply for the scheme.
  • Annual income must be Below the Poverty Line

For Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)

  • A person with 80% of Disabilities is eligible.
  • The applicant must be above 18 years of age.
  • Annual income must be Below the Poverty Line

Documents Required

The following documents are required while filling out the application form for the above-mentioned scheme:-

  • Identification proof – Such as Aadhar Card or PAN Card.
  • Date of birth proof – You can submit your 10th class result or even Birth Certificate.
  • Bank account details – The pension will be directed submitted to your bank account.
  • Proof of income – For verification of the eligibility criteria.

Process To Fill Up The Application Form

There is a very easy and simple way to fill up the application form for the above-mentioned scheme. You just have to download the online application form and submit it at your nearest government office or any designated Sub Divisional Office/ Block Development Office. How To Apply Online RAJSSP Pension Scheme

Residents of Rajasthan state who wish to apply under the Social Security Pension Scheme after checking their eligibility must first register on e-Mitra and SSO ID Portal. Apart from this, you can apply with the help of your nearest e-Mitra centre and public SSO centre.

Selection Procedure Under RAJSSP

After you have successfully submitted the application form for the scheme, the next step to implement is to select the beneficiaries. The followings steps will be undertaken to select the beneficiaries:-

  • First, the applications will be verified by the Tehsildar/ Naib Tehsildar.
  • Then the applications will be forwarded to the sanctioning authority.
  • The Sanction Authority in SDO/ BDO will be cross-checking the verified application.
  • The final list will be forwarded to the disbursement authority.
  • The Disbursement authority will initiate the payment to the beneficiary.
