This SWAYAM initiative seeks to prevent the problems of not seeking education for students who have remained untouched by the digital revolution. That is the students who have not been able to join the wave of knowledge.

The first and foremost benefit of the portal is the education that will be imparted to all the students of India whether rich or poor, irrespective of gender and irrespective of age. Also, the portal is hosting all the courses, taught in classrooms from Class 9th till Post-Graduation. All the courses are interactive which is prepared by the best teachers in the country. Those courses are available, free of cost to any learner. More than 1,000 specially chosen faculty and teachers from across the country have participated in preparing these courses.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Swayam portal of education, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:-
- Internet connection is required to access the portal.
- You must have these
following requirements to access the portal-
- A desktop or laptop
- A working internet connection
- Flash player installed
- The operating system
must be from the following options-
- Mac iOS
- Microsoft Windows
- Android
- Linux
- Port 1935 RTMP or Port 80 should be open
- Browsers must be from

Registration Process For SWAYAM
To register yourself in the Swayam portal, you can follow the simple procedure given below:-
- First, you have to visit the SWAYAM portal.
- When you land on the homepage, click on the “Register” button present on the top of the homepage.
- Login with your social media accounts such as-
- Microsoft
- You can also log in by clicking on the “sign up now” option.
- Provide all the basic details to create your account.
- A verification code will be sent to the registered email ID
- Click on the “Create” button after entering the details.
SWAYAM Tests
After successfully completed your list of courses under the Swayam Portal the next steps to implement are to check the test schedule and test dates. Every year regarding the course test marks and text schedule is uploaded on the SWAYAM Portal, you can just click on the course you are applying for. A list of options will be displayed on your screen for viewing the exam schedule or the exam results. The marks of the test will be communicated to you after 4 or 5 working days. Also, if you want any certificate of your courses when you have to give a minimum fee and you will be delivered a certificate or affidavit of your course.
