West Bengal Krishak Bandhu Scheme 2023
Chief Minister of west Bengal Mamata Banerjee has implemented the scheme for the betterment of the farmers. The farmers who are financially weak will receive financial help from the government. One of the benefits of the scheme is that farmers will be getting life insurance of Rs. 200000. In January 2019, this scheme was launched again with the motive to provide double financial assistance to farmers. Previously, the state government was offering rs 5000 yearly to the farmers for the land holding of one acre or more. But in the recently launched scheme, the farmers are getting Rs 10000 annually. The purpose of re-launching the Krishak Bandhu Scheme is to double the benefits for farmers.
The target of the Bengal government is to support a maximum number of farmers. More than 67 lakh farmers will be receiving benefits under the scheme. The finance will be given to farmers in two installments one in June and 2nd installment in November.

Downloading Procedure of Death Benefit Application Claim Form
- Visit the official website of the Krishak Bandhu scheme.
- Download the application form.
- After downloading the form take a print of it. Fill out the form by entering details like the farmer’s name, address, wife/son name (claimant), farm killed death date, age of the claimant, relation with the farmer, ID Proof No, and Land Details.
- Attached are the required documents with the form.
- Visit the office where the Assistant Director of Agriculture of the concerned block in your district sits.
- Submit the form to the Assistant Director of Agriculture.
