RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2021 will open for the students. As per the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009 it is mandatory that the child of 6 to 14 years have a right to get Free and Compulsory Education in a neighborhood school till completion of elementary education. The act specified that all the schools need to reserve 25% of their seats for children belonging to disadvantaged and weaker sections. Under RTE the government is going to provide primary class admission.

Eligibility criteria:
Applicants must be the domicile of Tamil Nadu state. It is mandatory that the child age is must between 6 to 14 years to get Free and Compulsory Education in a neighborhood school till the completion of elementary education. The annual income of the applicant’s family is must below Rs. 2 Lakhs. Applicants must belong to ST, SC, OBC, Orphan, Transgender, Children of HIV Parents, Children of Scavenger, and Child with a disability.

- Open the official website of the Department of school education, Government of Tamil Nadu
- From the home page of the website you need to search the online registration link
- Click on the link and a new web page will appear on the screen with the registration form
- Enter the details in the registration form and submit it
- After completing the registration procedure you need to fill the rest application form as per the asked details
- Upload your recently clicked photograph along with the other documents (caste certificate, date of birth certificate, etc.) in the prescribed dimension
- Submit the application form after review of the application form.
- Take print out of the form at last form further reference.
