The scheme was launched by the government of Chattisgarh state to improve the health conditions in the state. As we all know that the health facilities in our country are a bit lacking. But many schemes have been launched by the government to cover it up and one such scheme is the Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Yojana. All the poor people of the state will get an insurance cover of up to Rupees, 5 lacs per annum to cater to their needs.
Benefits Of The Scheme
There will be many benefits of the Health scheme as announced by the concerned authorities. The first and foremost benefit of the scheme will be the insurance covers that will be provided by the government. To all the poor people an insurance cover of Rupees, 5 lacs will be provided. Apart from all the poor people some benefits will also be availed by the middle-class people such as an insurance cover of up to Rupees, 50000 will be provided to them through the implementation of the scheme.
Implementation Of Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana
The scheme is said to be implemented by the designated nodal officers as assigned by the concerned authorities. It is also mentioned by an official that after the implementation of this scheme the health insurance covers in Chhattisgarh will cover almost 90% of the population in the state. The scheme will increase the beneficiary family count from 42 lakh to 56 lakh with health treatment coverage up to Rs 5 lakh in the state. This way the scheme will be very helpful for the residents of the Chattisgarh state.
Eligibility Criteria Of Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana
To be eligible for the scheme, the applicant must go through the following eligibility criteria:-
- To be eligible for the scheme the families must be possessing Priority and Antyoday ration cards.
- The applicants must be among the categories of under BPL ie below the poverty line.
- The applicant must have been covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme as a beneficiary.
