PMGDisha Mission 2022 All Details | Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan Benefits, Features, Fee & Registration Process
To make education available on every platform, the Government of India has come up with the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan. Through the implementation of the PM Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan, the government will make available the process of digital education to all the people living in the ruler area of India. Through the implementation of the scheme, many benefits will be provided to the people of India and the people who cannot afford to gain an education because of low-income and economically backward situations.

Objective Of The Scheme
The main objective of the scheme is to make six crore persons in rural areas digitally literate. The scheme has to be reaching to around 40% of rural households by covering one member from every eligible household. Empowering the citizens in rural areas by training them to operate a computer or digital access devices, send and receive e-mails, browse the Internet, access Government services, search for information, undertake digital payment, etc. are their first priority.

Application Fee
A training fee of Rs. 300/- per has to be paid by the candidate directly to respective Training Partners/Centres through CSC-SPV on successful certification of candidates trained by them. Also, the examination fee per candidate is Rs.70/-. This Fee would be directly payable to the duly registered Certifying Agencies for the assessment and certification of candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scheme the applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria given below:-
- Households, where none of the family members are digitally literate, will be considered eligible households.
- The beneficiary should be Digitally Illiterate
- Only one person per eligible household would be considered for training.
- The person should be in between 14 to 60 years of age.
- Priority would be given to the following-
- Non-smartphone users
- Antyodaya households
- College drop-outs
- SC
- ST
- BPL
- Women
- Differently-abled persons
- Minorities
Application Process In Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan
There is no separate and detailed application process to apply for the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan as a beneficiary. The training programs and the training center available in your district or your village will communicate with you on their own to apply for the scheme. After the training centers communicate to you, they will carry on the following procedure to enroll you under the scheme:-
- First, the candidate will have to log in with the ID and Password
- Adhaar Finger Print Authentication will be undertaken by the concerned training center.
- Finally, the Student will be added.
- The center will then start the Training of the students.
- Finally, the PMGDISHA Exam will be conducted.
